Michael Bohannon serves as a Construction Loan Manager at Parkview Financial based in the Atlanta office. Bringing more than eight years of experience to the firm, Michael oversees and reviews borrowers’ cost breakdowns, cost to complete, schedule of values, construction schedules, funding, and ensures that borrowers’ projects are on schedule. He also visits each project on a monthly basis to verify the progress, confirms billings, and then analyzes the cost breakdown to calculate the most accurate amount for future funding.
Prior to joining Parkview, Michael served for five years as a project manager with a NARI award-winning remodeling company that renovated million-dollar homes in the Atlanta area. He was responsible for scheduling/estimating the job, coordinating trades, purchasing all materials necessary to complete the job, and ensuring the build was proceeding according to plans. He created value for the company by holding three positions for the firm simultaneously as purchasing manager for entire company, project manager, and lead carpenter.
Michael graduated in 2011 from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Construction Management and a minor in Business Management. He completed a cost estimating course at Kennesaw State University in 2019 and is OSHA certified. Additionally, he is a member of Construction Management Association of America (Georgia Southern) and NARI (National Association of the Remodeling Industry).
Michael lives with his girlfriend and newborn son in Georgia. Outside of work, he enjoys catching a Braves game, traveling, bowling, working on projects around the house, and volunteering at Habitat for Humanity.
