Charlie O’Connell is the Chief Financial Officer at Parkview Financial, where he leads the firm’s financial strategy, capital management, and long-term planning as part of the senior leadership team. Based in the Los Angeles office, Charlie joined Parkview in June 2025 and works closely with Founder and CEO Paul Rahimian to support the company’s growth and performance objectives.

Charlie brings over 30 years of experience in finance, including more than 15 years serving as CFO for real estate investment and management firms. His background spans executive roles in early-stage technology ventures, private equity-backed companies, and real estate investment platforms.

Prior to joining Parkview, Charlie was CFO at DJM Capital Partners, where he managed all financial operations for the company and its affiliates. Before that, he provided interim and fractional CFO services to privately held companies through Kinsale Capital Partners. Over the course of his career, he has led financial functions at firms managing 34,000 apartment units and 3.5 million square feet of office space, with operations across 18 states and a workforce of 800 employees. He began his career as a balance sheet lender and investment banker, working with a broad base of real estate clients.

Charlie holds a B.A. in Political Science from Providence College, where he graduated cum laude.

Outside of work, he enjoys hiking Bay Area trails, playing ice hockey, and spending time with his three children and three dogs.
