Leonidas Milas is a Construction Loan Manager at Parkview Financial. Leonidas is based in the New York office and oversees the East Coast. He manages the draw process ensuring a positive borrower experience. A central aspect of his role is to mitigate construction risk via constructability, sequencing, and schedule reviews. He evaluates and recommends disbursements, works with a variety of project stakeholders, and analyzes each project on its own merits to ensure overall loan gain.
Leonidas has held roles of increasing responsibility in architecture, design-build, project management and construction supervision before pivoting to construction lending. He has worked in New York City, Milan, Istanbul, and his native Greece, but his professional experience rests almost entirely in ground-up construction with a heavy focus on multifamily assets. Prior to joining Parkview, he served as a Construction Superintendent with Suffolk Construction.
Leonidas holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from Politecnico di Milano and a Master’s in Management with a specialization in Real Estate Investment from Harvard Extension School.
Leonidas lives in Downtown Brooklyn and outside of work he enjoys reading, cooking, golfing, playing the saxophone and squash.
