Marty Friedemann is the Managing Director of Underwriting and Chief of Staff to the CEO at Parkview Financial, based in Los Angeles. He oversees loan transactions, providing practical guidance and support to the Chief Credit Officer in day-to-day operations. Additionally, he works closely with the CEO on strategic initiatives and ensures that Parkview's practices align with industry standards. Known for his ability to find creative solutions to complex challenges, Marty focuses on meeting the needs of all stakeholders throughout the loan process.

Marty has been with Parkview since 2019. Throughout his tenure, he ha successfully underwritten over $1 billion in loans, including structuring complex transactions. In addition to his underwriting responsibilities, Marty leads ongoing training across departments.

 

Prior to joining the firm, Marty owned and operated businesses in the distressed asset space, providing negotiation, acquisition, and construction management services to private equity funds focused on luxury housing. He holds a Master of Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California and a B.A. in English Literature from California State University, Northridge.
